Summary:

Transforming into a Kaiju compels Kafka to run. His escape is stopped short, but by the appearances of all the other Kaiju. . . Kafka Hibino convinces Leno Ichikawa that it is he and attempts to grin to soothe the ancient man, but his face is so horrible that the vintage guy passes out. Kafka puts his hand on the wall, but he causes enormous damage, therefore surprising both him and Leno of his great might. Kafka smashes the window at the side of the wall in an effort to open it, and they decide to an escapee from the commotion. Kafka changes through a series of odd transformations as he runs, then his mouth spews a crow, returning him to his normal monster form. Kafka then adds he has no control over his need to urinate. He begins to release fluid from his nipples and becomes embarrassed; he wants to die since he doesn't want to be every man's wife. Then he realizes he might also be able to join this type of defensive force, but Leno cautions him that they will kill him if they find him. Then Kafka feels that it is a Yoju monster, almost like the one from yesterday. Leno knows this is their chance to flee since the defense pressure will be split between them and the Yoju. The Yoju is about to eat a child somewhere when Kafka punches it. Though he attempts to calm the child, the most basic events frighten her more. Deciding to use all of his strength on the Yoju, Kafka tells Leno to look after the youngster; the Yoju splits into bits, producing a shower of blood. Kafka advises the girl that Leno will deliver her mother and herself to the sanatorium then depart to ease her worry. As the youngster turns around, he thanks him; Kafka recalls his vow to Mina. Still, he decides to keep pushing for the protection pressure and starts to turn back to being a human as he tells Leno about it. Three months later, the defense force is still looking for the eight documented Kaiju this year, which is the primary Kaiju they haven't been able to eliminate since the defense forces were formed. Today in their possession are the letters Leno and Kafka presented for the primary degree exam for the defense force. Ten days after arriving for the second one-level exam, defense pressure's Tachikawa Base, Leno, and Kafka are on the Nishi-Tokyo checking out website online.
